Dr. Ranen Biswas has about 21 years of experience in Urology.
He has passed Doctor of Medicine from The Russian Peoples’ Friendship University, Moscow, Russia in 1995.
He has completed Post-Graduate course of specialization in Urology (Clinical Ordinatura) from The Russian Peoples’ Friendship University, Moscow, Russia in 1998
He started his career as Resident Doctor in the Dept. of Urology, City Hospital -64, and Moscow, Russia.
Later He Joined in BIRDEM Hospital, Dhaka as Medical Officer, Asst. Registrar in Urology Dept. in 1999.
Just before joining SFMMKPJSH, was working in Apollo Hospitals Dhaka (first JCI Accredited Hospital in Bangladesh) since 2006 as Registrar, Sr. Registrar and Specialist in Urology Dept.
Dr. Ranen Biswas actively participated in several CME, participated in Hands on trainings, workshops and conferences & has many publications in national journals.
He has completed training in Holmium Laser Enucleation of Prostate and Laser Lithotripsy in 2014.
He has good exposure in Female Urology, Neuro-Urology, and Lithotripsy.
He has experience in Urological Surgery specially Endo-Urology (OIU, TUIP, BNI, TURP, TURBT) and Laser Uro-Surgery (Laser OIU, BNI, Lithotripsy, RIRS)
